In response to the climactic times in which we live  

Tattered Butterfly Arts exists as an eclectic arts organisation dedicated to exploring the phenomenal and intricate relationship between body and earth.

 

With the intent to make deep enquiry into the nature of nature, through the fine art of translating dialogue arising from the meeting place of flesh and soil, Tattered Butterfly Arts pioneers a unique performance process and is headed by dance movement practitioner, Rowan Jacqueline Beckett. 

 

Performance pieces are wholly dedicated to creating an inclusive, experiential and participatory working model and are woven through ongoing and interactive research projects rooted in Spiderflower: Contemporary Earth Dance.

 

Our findings are delivered as original material back to the wider whole, with specialist focus upon dance movement theatre and percussion.
