My name is Therese Lindqvist Persson.  Born in October 1986 in Sweden.​

My ancestors are Swedish, Danish and Dutch. My ancestors from Sweden come from Stockholm, Södertälje, Dalecarlia and Gotland, as far as I know. 

​

I am originally from Stockholm, but have lived in Skattungbyn, north of Dalecarlia for five years.  I have danced with Spiderflower: Contemporary Earth Dance since February 2016.

I am a singer / songwriter and am part of a musical duo with my partner Alex Tael.

​

I also paint, draw and make visual arts.  The media I work through are mostly painting and drawing, but also a few sculptures and small installations.

I have completed a 2-year course called "Projektverkstan" at Södra Sthlms Folkhögskola, working with different art works. For example, recording and performing my music, making visual arts and presenting it thrue an exhibition. We learned different techniques and methods that are usefull when working in and completing projects (in my case art projects).

 

I have studied one year at Högskolan Dalarna in art teaching (Ämneslärarutbildning, Bild som huvudämne), and have also taken courses in "Levandeverkstads pedagogik", that is a pedagogic, creative art-teaching-form focused mainly on the artprocess rather than the result.

I am very passionate about creating and expressing art in various forms.
